Please join us at DOCR Headquarters in Ferndale MI for our Three Day Barista Masterclass!
The course curriculum will include lectures, several workshops, and learning assistance from our highly trained educators.
In this course, you will learn the entire scope of what it means to be a great barista, how to support all baristas’ learning on shift, and how to craft perfect espresso beverages every time. Listen while our team describes every aspect of espresso brewing and milk steaming, and participate in several demos, working in groups with our certified educators for hands-on learning experiences.
This course will include a 1 hour lunch break to split up the learning. Upon finishing this course, you will receive certification, as well as a specialized letter of recommendation to supplement your resume, in addition to a few fun merchandise items. Our EDU team wants to see you excel in the specialty coffee industry. Upon completing the course, you will receive the opportunity to meet with our Certified Educators continuously in the months to come. We want to assist you in your specialty coffee career. The course includes physical media of the curriculum to take home, though bringing a notebook and pen for note taking is always advised.

FAQs
What is included with the purchase of my ticket?
DOCR Academy students will receive a certificate of completion for the class taken, as well as a printed booklet corresponding with class materials.
Students who complete our three-day Barista Masterclass will also receive a personalized letter of recommendation from our Education Department. They will also have the opportunity to use DOCR Certified Coffee Educators as references on their resume.
Your ticket will also include any meals, snacks and beverages provided by DOCR. We want students to feel sustained during our classes and ready to learn and grow!

Can I make changes to my class ticket after it has been purchased?
Should we include this in case there is a change in their schedule?
What is your cancellation policy?
Tickets are nonrefundable. In the case of scheduling conflicts or emergencies, email our team at info@dessertoasiscoffee.com with a one weeks' notice and we can transfer your tickets to a different date. This timeframe allows us open availability for other participants to take the class.
