DOCR's Education Department is where the discipline of science and knowledge meets the beauty of art and community.

We're committed to delivering exceptional training for both baristas and the general public in an engaging and educational manner. The department is dedicated to upholding the superior quality of our coffee by implementing rigorous testing and tasting protocols, while also providing our baristas with comprehensive training that encompasses every aspect of coffee production, from the initial seed to the final cup.

Our mission extends beyond being a resource for our company's knowledge; it serves as a platform for coffee to manifest its full potential while connecting people through specialty coffee.

In a nutshell, this is what we do as a department at DOCR:

• Public-facing coffee education classes
• One-on-one guided training sessions, use of our equipment, products, and more
• Resources and references to certification and educational services with DOCR and other educational coffee organizations
• Consulting and training services as part of our Wholesale Partner package
• Rigorous in-house training and certification program with our team of baristas
• Receiving consistent training and additional certification of our own education so that we're better equipped to teach the public and our teams
