Nicaragua — Finca Santa Melida | House

$19.95
Size: 12oz
A beautifully balanced daily drinker with cherry cola brightness, brown-sugar sweetness, and a soft apricot lift.

We’re thrilled to introduce Nicaragua Finca Santa Melida, a washed coffee grown by members of Cooperativa Las Victorias in San Juan del Rio Coco. This cup is approachable yet quietly complex, offering the crowd-pleasing balance we love in a house coffee: cherry-cola sparkle, warm brown sugar sweetness, and a gentle apricot note that adds just the right touch of fruit. It’s instantly comforting, but still interesting enough to savor each sip.

This is our first time bringing coffee from this producer to the U.S., as they’ve been historically popular in Europe. We’re honored to showcase their work to our customers.

ABOUT THE COFFEE

IN FOCUS: Nicaragua Finca Santa Melida

Producers & Cooperative
Finca Santa Melida is one of twelve farms that make up Cooperativa Agropecuaria de Producción Las Victorias del Balcón R.L., a newly formed cooperative built by growers with more than 50 years of combined experience. Prior to joining forces, these producers could only sell locally. Now united — and certified organic by OCIA International and Biolatina — they can market their coffees more widely and invest in sustainable, eco-friendly production systems.

Their farms sit between 1200–2100 masl, and lots from the group regularly score between 85–90 points.

Varietals & Processing
This lot is a fully washed selection of Yellow Catuai, Red Catuai, and Caturra, producing a clean, structured cup with gently fruit-forward sweetness.

Flavor Profile
Expect balanced sweetness and clarity, with notes of cherry cola, brown sugar, and apricot, wrapped in a soft, approachable finish ideal for everyday drinking.
